Privacy Policy
SubTrack ("the App") is a subscription tracking application developed and operated by Enoch Omobolaji Flourish ("we", "I"). This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the SubTrack mobile application (package name com.subtrack.efbolaji).
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, where provided, your display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the email address and name associated with that account. A unique user identifier (UID) is created for your account.
Subscription data you enter. The App stores the subscription records you create, including service names, prices, billing cycles, renewal dates, categories, payment method labels (for example, "Visa card" — never card numbers), notes, payment history, and reminder preferences. This data is stored in your account so it can sync across your devices.
App settings. Preferences such as theme, currency, and alert settings are stored locally on your device.
What we do not collect: precise location, contacts, photos, SMS messages, payment card numbers, or advertising identifiers. The App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. We never sell your data.
How your information is used
- To provide the App's core functionality: storing your subscriptions, syncing them to your account, and calculating spending insights.
- To send local reminder notifications on your device before subscription renewals. Notifications may display the subscription name and price. These reminders are scheduled on your device and are not sent from a server.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
Where your data is stored
Account authentication and subscription data are stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), a service provided by Google LLC. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and protected by security rules that restrict access to your data exclusively to your authenticated account. You can review Google's privacy practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Data sharing
Your data is processed by Google Firebase solely to provide the App's functionality, as described above. We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal information to any other third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Data retention and account deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the App: Settings → Delete Account. This removes your authentication account and all subscription data stored under it. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
You may also request deletion by emailing efkevin@icloud.com from your account email address.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the KVKK in Türkiye), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Since all data in SubTrack is data you entered yourself, you can view and edit it directly in the App, and delete all of it using in-app account deletion. For any other request, contact us at the email below.
Children
SubTrack is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated within the App where practical.
